Major Goals of R & D Cell

The major goals of R & D Cell are as follows:

• To create awareness about research among Students & Faculties.
• To promote research activities in interdisciplinary and frontier areas of science and technology
• To enhance the research output of the institute by  research paper publication in referred journals and reputed conferences
• To introduce Masters and Research programs.
• To undertake Joint-collaborative Research & Development Projects with the Industry & Research centers.
• To set up Research Center in each domain of Engineering.
• To collaborate with Research Institutes Nationally & Internationally.
• To organize various workshops/ seminar/ trainings related to promotion of research
• To create awareness about filing Patents & IPR
• To support faculties for doing a PhD.

The significant factors indicating potential growth in the research activities includes the enhancement in the research publications in peer reviewed journals, Research Projects/ grants, Patents, Collaborations and Faculty development.
