COUNSELLING CELL

Introduction

A Counseling Cell is established since 2016 to support our students and faculties for their comprehensive psychological well beingness. A counseling cell at GWCET is a facilitator that helps the students to overcome career and social behavioral barriers. In the changing scenario counseling cell plays a vital role to overcome the hurdles in an overall development of a student.

A counseling cell also works in coordination with the training and placement department in order to provide the career guidance related problems.

For the smooth functioning of the counseling cell have a faculty guardian from each department.

Ms.V.P.Lonkar, Assistant Professor in the CSE Department & team conducts counseling sessions for both students and faculties once in a week.

Objectives

• To develop a more positive & hopeful attitude
• To figure out causes of their emotional traumas
• Counseling students for solving their problems and provide confidence to improve their quality of life.
• Guiding students to choose right career path for job, higher studies, Entrepreneurship, etc.
